What they discover is that there is deep seated corruption going on between a crooked politician and the owner of a pro football team.
Joe Hallenbeck is a burned-out detective. Jimmy Dix is an ex-LA Stallions player. Hallenbeck was hired to protect a stripper named Cory. Dix is Cory's boyfriend. When Cory is executed during a drive-by shooting, both Hallenbeck and Dix try to get to the bottom of the case.
This is one of my favorite action movies. This is the movie that<br/><br/>made me like Bruce Willis. What made me like this movie is that<br/><br/>it had great acting from everyone, it was action packed, (Not<br/><br/>John Woo, but still great.) And what made this movie was the<br/><br/>writing by Shane Black and Greg Hicks! Their writing was<br/><br/>hilarious and original. I loved the jokes in this. Especially a<br/><br/>scene with a puppet. I think that people should see this movie<br/><br/>and enjoy it as it was
The Last Boy Scout is another great action comedy from the prodigal son of the buddy genre Shane Black. Bruce Willis and Damon Wayans have good chemistry and provoide plenty of one-liners. We all know that Any film from the team of Silver, Black, and Scott is really going to be about action sequences, however, and the film has them in abundance!The action sequences are loud and intesne just the way I like them. I wonder why they never did a sequel to this action classic?
The story is beholden to the trendy steroid-and-TV world view: pump it up and cut it fast. Still, the dialogue, while fitfully glib, is wry and engaging, like a profane Raymond Chandler on speed. No one acts (in the Stanislavsky sense, anyway) but all perform well.
When Joe &amp; Jimmy take the bomb from the security detail&#39;s crashed car, they place it on the backseat of their car. Therefore, when the lieutenant opens the trunk of the car at the stadium and takes the case out, it has to be the money - we can only assume that Joe placed it there (offscreen) when he takes it from the car in the swimming pool. Presumably he either also grabs a spare magazine and reloads offscreen or Darien brings an extra box of bullets with her to Jimmy&#39;s car. Alternatively maybe the guy whose car he borrows has a spare box and or he salvages some from Milo&#39;s car.
